Behavior Analyst
Heather joined the Adapt for Life team in March of 2018 as the Clinical Director. She received her bachelor’s in Psychology from Bellarmine University and her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Spalding University in 2013. She earned her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate in 2014. She is also a Licensed Behavior Analyst for the state of Kentucky.
Heather has over a decade of experience working with individuals who have Autism and other co-morbidities from ages 2 years to 30 years old. In 2007, Heather began her professional journey while working as a one-on-one assistant, incorporating Applied Behavior Analysis to a child with Autism at her school. Since then, Heather has acted and loved her roles as a Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist, Paraprofessional, Behavior Consultant, Behavior Support Specialist, and BCBA in the home, school, community, and clinic settings in Kentucky and Indiana. She is most passionate about identifying and highlighting the strengths of her clients while giving them the tools they need to grow and live as independent and fulfilled individuals in their community.
